Autumn 1 The Islamic Faith
We thought about the creation of the world and how we need to look after something that is special to us.:
Our faith ambassadors were absolutely amazing at discussing their Islamic Faith.
A wonderful explanation of wudu which is performed before entering the mosque.
We enjoyed listening to a story using objects and pictures to retell the story about the Prophet Muhammad and the Tiny Ants. We wrote or drew pictures as a comic strip based on the story. One of our class members loved retelling the story to the rest of the class.

We listened to a Muslim story about the Prophet Muhammad and the seven kittens.
We learnt that Muslims belief in the religion of Islam. We discussed how Allah created all living things.
We used Sketchbook on the I-Pads to create some of the wonderful living things that Allah created.
We began our RE by reading the story of The Rainbow Fish and discussing how he felt better when he shared his glimmering scales with the others. We decided that he did a good deed!
We then had a circle time to share what we are good at. Then we drew what we were good at on a piece of material with fabric pens and pastels.
