Australia

We have started this unit by looking at and identifying the different continents and oceans that make up our world. We looked at how close Australia was away from the equator and identified it was in the southern hemisphere. 

We have been identifying the human and physical features of Australia. We also compared them to the United Kingdom, looking similarities and differences. 
We imagined we had visited some of the well known physical landmarks and sent postcards to our friends and family telling them all about what they had seen and learnt. 

We have been identifying the similarities and differences in Perth Australia to here in the Uk. We started by comparing homes and buildings.
