The children have been learning about half and quarter. We went outside to find sticks that were half or a quarter the size of another stick.
3D Magic box
Fabulous work today on 3D shapes! We wrote descriptions of the shapes, posted in the box and guessed what would come out the other side!
The children have been collecting data about their favourite mini beast. They each had a counter to place on the graph to represent their chosen mini beast. Then the children had to interpret the data to find out which was the most popular mini beast and which was the least popular mini beast.
Place value. The children chose a number then made it using counters, deans and arrow cards.
