Better to be Safe than Sorry

We began with a silent debate about whether it was always a good idea to share. The children came up with some great advice on how we can keep ourselves and each other safe online by thinking very carefully about what we do and what we don't share over the internet. We then wrote responses in role as an 'agony aunt' to children who had worries about sharing information online.

We also talked about why we have rules and laws and how these keep us all safe.

We created information leaflets to explain what civil and criminal laws are, and what the consequences of not following the law might be.

We then discussed what the age or criminal responsibility was and how that affected us and the choices we make.
