Art & DT

We are studying Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. Here we are creating different paint effects using a selection of brushes and spatulas.

After honing our painting skills we displayed our finished art work.

Our recent DT topic has been making picture frames. We looked at a range of frames, made a prototype and then created the final frame.

We also visited Brungerley Sculpture Park.

We are planning our Christmas art displays in school and are planning to showcase collage skills from Reception to Year 6. Look out for our displays when you visit in December.

We are currently making photo frames in Design and Technology. here we are sketching and evaluating a wide range of different frames.

Looking at different soft sewn toys and beginning to sew our own bookmarks with arrange of different stitches.
